Tour itinerary

Day 1 Cairo

Golavita Travel Egypt representative will greet and assist you through immigration and customs formalities at Cairo airport. Once you are ready, your guide will join you in our modern new brand vehicle to your hotel in Cairo to check-in.

Day 2 Cairo Top Attractions

After getting your breakfast at the hotel, you guide will join you for your full day tour to some of the best Cairo attractions. You will start your Cairo day tours with Golavita Travel Egypt. Start your amazing tour with the Grand Egyptian Museum, the GEM is the largest archaeological museums in the world and it will house around 100 000 Egyptian artifacts.

Lunch: Enjoy a freshly cooked lunch at a local restaurant before you proceed your trip to the next stop Giza Pyramids Complex. Now its time to explore one of the Egypt wonders, Giza Pyramids and the history of the Egyptians during the fourth dynasty. While, your tour to Giza Plateau will take between two and three hours, you can enter the Great Pyramid of Cheops. Enter one of the Queens Pyramids (Satellite Pyramids) free of charge, and walk on the basalt floor of the Purification temple. Khafre Pyramid is not far from Cheops Pyramid and it’s the only one still keep part of the covers. After shoot some nice photo at the Panorama and on the way down to the Sphinx, you will pass the small Pyramid of Menkaure. You will explore the Valley temple and the Great Sphinx. At the end of your tour, you may will have sometimes to make some shopping before you go back to your hotel.

Day 3 Cairo Bahariya Oasis and White desert

Departure from your hotel to the white desert after breakfast. It takes around four hours driving with a short break for coffee or toilet. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a delicious homemade lunch at a local house then we will start our desert adventure with the 4*4 Jeeps.

First stop will be the black desert to see why they call it black desert. After a short time climbing or walking in the area and shooting some nice photos, we will move to El Heiz Village for a tea and cold bath in the cold spring. Then in your Egypt day tours we will drive to the Aqabat area to enjoy the stone formation of the area and climb to take some nice photos for the panorama of the area. Spending sometime there before we go to White desert camp. Delicious BBQ dinner under the stars and setting around the camp fire before sleep in a tent till next morning.

Day 4 Farafra island - Cairo

Breakfast at the camp site before we start touring the New white desert, on the way back we stop by the Crystal mountains. Once we are back to the village around 11.30 pm, we will enjoy our lunch before we drive back to the hotel.

Day 5 Cairo - Aswan

Check out from Cairo hotel to fly to Aswan from Cairo airport. Upon arrival, you will start your Aswan attractions tour to the High Dam. Start your Aswan attractions with one of the largest dams in the world, Aswan High Dam. Listen to your guide and figure out what the High Dam did to Egypt and how it helped Egypt's development. Then explore Philae temple in Aswan on Agilkia island is one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt. Later, your guide will join you to Egypt Nile Cruises to check-in at enjoy your lunch on board the Nile Cruise.

Day 6 Aswan - Kom Ombo and Edfu

Free morning at your own leisure with the chance to go to Abu Simbel temple I you like. Around midday, your Nile Cruise will start sailing towards Kom Ombo city. After about 3 hours, you will visit the double temple of Kom Ombo for Sobek and Haroreis. Kom Ombo temple is a very small temple with very unique stories comparing to all the Pharaonic temples built in the Greco Roman Period. At the end of the tour, you can enter the Museum of Crocodiles including in the entrance ticket. Back to the boat and sail to Edfu city for overnight.

Day 7 Edfu - Luxor

Early visit to Horus temple with a horse drawn carriage, the best-preserved temple in Egypt. Edfu temple is the only temple where you can see the ritual of constructing the temple one by one. Also, it gives us a great idea about ancient festivals such as the Good Union Marriage between Hathor and Horus. Back for the breakfast on board then sail for the rest of the day to Luxor via Esna Lock.

Day 8 Luxor - Cairo

Enjoy your last breakfast on board the Nile cruise then check out and start your Luxor attractions with your guide. You will visit Valley of the Kings including Tutankhamun tomb, Hatshepsut temple, and Memnon Colossi on Luxor west bank. On Luxor east bank, you will marvel the biggest of all the Egyptian temples, Karnak complex. At the end of your tour at Karnak, you will be taken to enjoy your lunch then Luxor airport to fly to Cairo. Upon arrival, we will transfer you to check in at your Cairo hotel for overnight.

Day 9 final departure

Enjoy your breakfast and free time till your final departure to Cairo airport.
